W/e 'local' fell running, 26/27 Dec ...

Sat 26 Dec, Tyn-y-Groes Hill race, AS 2.5 miles / 700 feet, 12 noon, Tyn-y-Groes Hotel, on A470 just south of Ganllwyd, Coed y Brenin. £3 EOD, check WFRA site below before travelling.

Sun 27 Dec, Jubilee Plunge, 2pm, summit of Moel Famau. 2.5 miles, 1350 ft downhill only ! see WFRA below.

Weekend weather
Saturday: Breezy, with strong or gale force winds over hill tops. Sunny spells but also occasional showers which could be heavy at times. These could also fall as snow above about 500 metres. Occasional hill fog is expected in association with heavy showers.
Sunday : Breezy with sunny spells but also occasional wintry showers. Occasional hill fog is expected in association with showers. The wind a fresh west to northwesterly, increasing to strong over hill tops.
