W/e 'local' fell running, 5/6 dec ...

Thu 3 Dec, Night Hill Run #2, Outside Pinnacle Cafe, Capel Curig, with Iain, 6.30pm prompt. Bring a good torch/headtorch ! Iain and Sarah will organise more in January, but if anyone wants to do night runs in between, let us know.

Sun 6 Dec, Cardington Cracker, 9 miles / 2600 feet AM, M: 1.09; F: 1.25. 11am Cardington Village Hall, near Church Stretton. EOD, £4, over 18. http://www.telfordathleticclub.co.uk/

Accommodation for Ireland British Champs race - 9th / 10th April 2010.
If anyone want to stay at Tory Bush Cottages http://www.torybush.com/ for the Ireland BC race, can they please email Sarah at sarah@runsnowdonia.co.uk by December 6th. If we get enough people to fill the houses, the price per night would be around £20-25 (so thats £40-50 for the weekend). To secure the accommodation, bookings will need be made by December 6th so you will need to confirm to me by then. A full deposit is required from each club member by end of December. Because prices depend on club members filling the houses, the deposits are non-refundable (however if you find someone else to take your place that's fine).

Weekend weather
Saturday: Cloudy, with rain becoming more persistent and heavy, and with hill fog becoming widespread. South to southwest winds increasing to gale, and later probably reaching storm force.
Sunday: Cloudy with heavy rain and strong to gale southwesterly winds. Hill fog widespread at first. Generally turning brighter during the morning, with cloud breaking and lifting and with winds easing somewhat. Heavy showers are then likely to follow in during the afternoon.
