W/e 'local' fell running, 8/9 August ...

Welsh Perimeter Charity cycle ride. Becki Law is shortly attempting to cycle around Wales and is seeking sponsorship for a project in Vietnam.
Starting on the 15th August she will be attempting to cycle the perimeter of Wales, starting and finishing in Bangor. It is going to involve cycling approximately 800 miles, taking 8 days and she would like to raise just over £800. Full details on the Eryri Blog site, below.

Weekend Mountain Forecast for Snowdonia
Saturday: Occasional fog patches at low levels and in sheltered valleys, but this clears and it should be another largely dry morning with some sunny spells. Cloud will increase in the afternoon and there is a chance of showers developing and continuing into the evening. Visibility generally moderate but occasionally poor or less than 200 metres in fog patches in the morning. Becoming good in the afternoon but perhaps dipping to moderate or poor again in any showers. Hill fog patches at low levels at the very start of the day, but these lift to affect only the summits by the middle of the day. Maximum winds above 500m Westerly 10-15mph becoming southwesterly 15-20mph with gusts to 30mph. Temperature, Valleys 13 C rising to 16 C. At 900 m 8 C.
Sunday: Scattered light showers are expected in the morning, merging to give longer periods of rain in the afternoon and evening.
