W/e 'local' fell running, 23/24 January 2010

Saturday, looks like the only fell race is on Box Hill near Dorking ....

Sunday 24th, Menai Mini Marathon 10km - 10.30am, David Hughes School, Menai Bridge. EOD. See Eryri Blog link below.

Sunday 24th, Local fell run, 10:00am Plas Ffrancon Leisure Centre car park, Bethesda SH 621 673. A run up into the Carneddau, various speeds, around 2 hours. Cafe options in Bethesda afterwards.

Always bring: bumbag, map, compass, whistle, wind/waterproof top & trousers, hat & gloves ... E&OE, please make your own checks before travelling.

Sunday: A cloudier day on Sunday, but still with light winds. A risk of some light showers or longer spells of rain in the afternoon. Visibility generally moderate.
