Chester Spring 5. 7.00pm.
Venue: Chester County Sports Club, Upton, Chester, CH2 1PR.
Entry Fees: Club £5.00 - Unattached £7.00. On the Day entries £1.00 extra.
On the roads last weekend; Sunday 28th March, Brendan Rothery was again to the fore with an excellent 3rd place finish at the Liverpool Half Marathon with a time of 74:15. The race was won by Liverpool's Paul Sankey in 73:25. There were 500 finishers.
On the same day, same distance but different location, Matthew Roberts finished 35th at Wilmslow in what was a high quality race with a time of 73:09. The race was won by Andi Jones (Salford Harriers) in a fast time of 64:45. Again as Liverpool, there were 500 finishers.
