W/e 'local' fell running, 3/4 April.

Fri 2 April, Mountain Biking, Coed y Brenin, 10am in car park by cafe / visitor centre.

Sun 4 April, Local hill run (~2 hours): Meet at 10am, Meet at 10am, FC car park Beddgelert Forest, go into the forest at Pont Cae'r-gors, off the A4085 between Rhyd Ddu and Beddgelert, turn left and drive down the forest road towards Beddgelert, (mildly potholed...) then turn right into the car park by tall trees. Marked as 'P' on OS 1:50k & 1:25k. SH 573 502.

Tuesday 6 April, Midweek Fell Race Series #1, Moel Tryfan. 7.15pm from Bron y Foel school, Y Fron SH 508 548, EOD £1.50. Junior race £1. Mike Blake 07778 145 144.

Weekend weather
Friday: Sunny spells but also further showers with the risk of a more prolonged period of rain during the morning. The showers being heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder. Snow is likely above about 700 metres.
Saturday: Sunny spells but also occasional showers. These will be heavy at times with a risk of hail and thunder. Snow is likely over the highest ground. Winds may fall light for a while but with fresh or strong northerlies developing later.
Sunday: Frosty start. Sunny spells and a few mainly light showers during the morning. Becoming dry during the afternoon. The wind a moderate to fresh northwesterly during the morning, turning southwesterly during the afternoon.
Monday: Cloudy and windy with periods of heavy rain and persistent hill fog. The wind picking up to a strong to gale force southerly.
